A strategy was built around Helping writers and artists successfully acquire the understanding, skills and support to get published and develop their writing careers, with two key elements:

1. Expert support: Publishing professionals help writers and artists with a range of paid-for writing services – 10 now available. How Strong is Your Book Idea?, First Draft Review, Mid-way Review, Full Manuscript Submission, Submission Master class, Beat the Rejection clinic. How Strong is Your Book Idea and Beat the Rejection Clinic are completely unique products, which no other player in the market offers.

2. Community support: Facilitating a proactive community of writers and artists who help each other.

3. Industry context: Providing a self-publishing comparison service to help writers find out who is the right self-publishing partner.


The business exceeded budgets after only 3 months. Digital revenues delivered a third of its well established print revenues after just one year. Revenues continue to increase year on year as more services and events are added.
